Workshops, trainings, and wellness groups for school communities carrying hard things

Dr. Danielle Gettings is based in Washington State. She partners with ESDs, ECEAP, ESIT, McKinney-Vento teams, and community and advocacy organizations across the Pacific Northwest and Spanish-speaking communities to build trauma-informed spaces where staff, students, and families can regulate, grieve, and grow.

The work

Trainings that meet people where they are

Trauma-informed practice isn't a checklist. It's a way of being with people — curious instead of corrective, relational instead of reactive. Whether she's with a district leadership team, a group of ECEAP coordinators, or staff supporting McKinney-Vento students, every session is built around your community's realities.

Child development & trauma

Neurorelational frameworks (Bruce Perry) translated into practices your team can use on Monday morning.

Regulation before strategy

Somatic and neuro-emotional regulation practices that help both children and the adults who hold them.

Systems that hold people

MTSS and tiered supports designed around relationships — not one more initiative to survive.

Care for the caregivers

Naming compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma with honesty, dignity, and real pathways forward.

Danielle is gifted at building relationships and creating a positive culture. That talent allowed her to connect with the teachers she supervised and help them achieve that same level of success in their own classrooms. She is an outstanding person, a successful teacher, and a talented instructional coach. I recommend her unconditionally.
